Paint Process
Our restoration shop has a professional paint process in place so your classic muscle car will receive the highest level paint finish available. We carefully strip all paint, old filler, etc to a shiny bare metal finish. Once stripped, we epoxy powder coat the entire car so the electrostatic properties cover areas that a spray gun cannot reach. After blocking the powder coat, we apply a poly coat to remove small imperfections. A 2nd epoxy primer is applied and dry blocked to 220gt. A 3rd epoxy primer is applied and blocked to 800gt. Axalta paint is then applied and color sanded to 2500gt a 3 stage buff is necessary after paint has cured. The final product is a mirror finish with highly reflective properties making your classic muscle car stand out at any show.
